Services vary by pet type
Pet Sitting
We provide in owner and sitter home care. This is dependant on the pet
We also offer weekend, holiday, and weekday care. Because of the needed time for dog attantion and/or if pet needs medication, some options may not be best fit for ASPC. If this is the case, we have partnerships with other pet care services that may be able to help.
Exercise
Play time and excercise is always included when pet sitting. If you would like to have us walk or socialize with you pet outside of a sitting event, we would love to stop by!
Medication Adminisration
We are able to handle most oral and topical medication administrations. Injection medications/insulin can be discussed.
GROOMING
Light grooming can be offered. This would enclude ear cleaning, anal gland expression and bath for dogs. Other pet grooming can be discussed.
APSC ALSO HAS A GREEN THUMB!
We also offer housesitting/plant care while you are away! Other requests are negotiable.
Exotic Feeding
We have experience feeding mice, crickets, meal worms, etc. We are not squeemish and understand the eating process of these animals. A discussion over a feeding schedule and food preference will be discussed.

For ASPC, the restrictions aren’t the type of animal, but the time needed for the animals care. ASPC will not mislead you, telling you an exaggeration of the amount of time spent caring for your pet. Dogs are more likely to be declined for sitting due to a possible time restraint by sitter.

Finding someone to care for an exotic pet while you are away is not always easy to do. Many of us have friends and family who are comfortable looking after cats and dogs, but they may not be so eager to watch after more "unusual" pets.
As for pet sitting services, most seem to focus only on dogs and cats, making finding someone knowledgeable about exotic pets difficult.
That's where the APSC really shines. Ranging from hedgehogs to snakes, APSC has experience caring for a variety of pets, and can easily learn if a new pet is presented.
What if you are going out of town and have someone to watch your cat, but don't know the first hand on caring for your guinea pig? Have APSC watch both- keeping you updated through text, phone, or e-mail! We love sending pictures!
